Happy New Year!!

What a year!

Well, 2020 certainly had its challenges, but with those challenges came many opportunities—especially when it came to stitching goals! Here is a snapshot of but a few of the things we accomplished with our needles this year. And we are looking forward to the many projects we have planned for 2021.

What about you? What accomplishment from this past year gives you most pride? What are you most looking forward to in the new year? Do you have a favorite stitching goal you'd like to share in the comments? We'd love to hear from you.

We wish you all the happiness that a new year can hold as we leave the bizarre time of 2020 and enter the new year. May 2021 be filled with joy and stitches!

Happy stitching,
Teri and Kara

  1. I'm so grateful this year for the stitching community I discovered on Facebook and the opportunity to "meet" so many talented designers. I'm proud of having completed a fairly complex (for me) quilt early on in the shutdown. It's just awaiting the binding at this point and it will become a gift for a "special" birthday my sister is having this year. I'm also pleased to have made progress on the wool applique front. I haven't tackled any of the big projects I purchased this year but completed 5 1/2 of 12 monthly mats and a bunch of ornaments - which is a tremendous amount of productivity for me. I had been having monthly in-person stitching nights with a few friends and I'm thrilled that we went virtual and have continued meeting twice a month. Thank you for your inspiration this past year. Wishing you all the best in the New Year.

    1. It sounds like you have been quite productive this year! This crazy year did afford us a good opportunity to learn a lot of new stitching skills. Your sister will be blessed by such a great birthday gift.
